Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • Submission or its parts hasn’t been previously published in other publications, nor sent another journal for consideration.
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice or Microsoft Word document file format.
  • Submitted paper is composed and formatted in accordance with the Author Guidelines.
  • This journal provides immediate open access to its content under the Creative Commons CC BY 4.0 license. Authors who publish with this journal retain all copyrights and agree to the terms of the above-mentioned CC license.

Guidelines for Manuscript Preparation

       I Title Page

  • The cover page, the first page, should contain the paper title, the name, affiliation and email address(es).
  • The manuscript should start with the paper title at the top followed with a 150-200 words’ abstract and keywords (up to five keywords)

       II Content

       The final paper should be up to 8000 words.

  • One-and-a-half-spaced, Times New Roman 12 as font type.
  • 2,5 cm margin for all sides.
  • Titles of figures and tables shall be placed before that figure or table.
  • Center-justify all charts, tables, and figures (if any).
  • All pages, including tables, appendices, and references should be serially numbered. The page number should be located at the bottom right of the page. It should be Times New Roman 12
  • Major sections should be numbered in Roman numeral format
  • Keywords should follow the section of Abstract. Keywords should be lower case, and separated with a semi colon. For example, “Keywords: cost accounting; detection risk; audit.”
  • All tables and diagrams shall be listed within the manuscript as an image file.
  • Abstract and keywords in Bosnian/Croatian/ Serbian language are placed at the end of the paper, after references

       III References

References should also be one-and-a-half-spaced, not numbered and listed in alphabetical order using the APA citation style. Authors are recommended to use citations not older than the last  decade as much as possible and sources from WoS and Scopus are preferred.

  • The references section should be located at the end of the article manuscript and after any appendixes.
  • Only work cited in the manuscript should be included in the reference section.
  • When citing others’ work within the manuscript please follow the following instance for single author (Phelps, 1999), but for the case of multiple citations in the manuscript please follow this example (Grioux, 2018; Crain et al., 2015).
  • Capitalize only the initial of the first word of an article title and a book title. If there is a subtitle, capitalize the initial of the first word as well. However, capitalize the initial of each word of a journal title. Place a period at the end of the title. Do not number your references. Do not underline the title of each reference article or place quotations around it.
